Project Abstract:

Our company is presently developing variety of OAM (Operation and Maintenance) applications for different telecommunications gateways. Using these applications which act as protocol handlers, test scenario tools, network supervisor controllers and process managers, users can perform functions such as Operation Control, Traffic Management, Office Data Control, Connection Testing, Line Control, Congestion Control, Test Data Generator, Signal Tracing, Connection for Active/Standby Server Switching, Configuration Setting, Subscribers Database management and Communication/Operation Log Management.

Network Simulator and Testing Applications

Project Abstract:

Network simulators are crucial systems for the development of network components. These speed-optimized and highly stable systems are connected to target machines and simulate the behavior of a network. This enables the target machine to be thoroughly tested in a simulated environment before it is deployed in the actual network. The testing is guided by scenario scripts which dictate the behavior of the network simulation. Protocol simulation is done by performing resource management and auditing (QoS) in the different OSI layers.

Protocol Processing and Converter Applications

Project Abstract:

Protocol Converters play a crucial role in the interconnection of disparate systems with different communication protocols. These systems are widely used especially in the telecommunications industry, where different standards exist. We developed protocol converters for mobile telecommunications systems, cable & wireless solutions and Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) systems. These protocol converters deal with US, European, and Japan protocol standards derived from recommendations from 3GPP & ETSI-UMTS & IMS, ITU-NGN, IETF-RFCs, IEEE - ethernet and wireless and W3C standards.
